SAVVY: The POWERHOUSE Workshop

I was presented with an opportunity to attend SAVVY April 24th weekend. Although I had some basic information about SAVVY, and an attitude that said, "Sure" I really had no idea what to expect. But let me say this...if you are dragging your feet, stuck in the mud, a procrastinator, questioning your passion, or just simply scarred of success such as me, SAVVY is a POWERHOUSE workshop that will get you motivated to work and make you set all doubts aside. I was given all the right tools to move forward out my mud whole.

I’ve been working on my personal mission statement. SAVVY has taught me to focus my personal mission statement based on biblical principles. Using this concept I believe my mission statement says, “yes that’s her". As I continue to shift a few words I will soon have my 25 or less statement that SAVVY strongly suggest to keep your readers attention. I’m a little chatty so right now it’s 40 words in my draft. SAVVY helps you stay on point in every area of building a business, ministry or nonprofit.

Smooth Sailing Consulting

Attending SAVVY April 2015 motivated me to resume my efforts with my consulting business. The “Who am I” segment of the “Situation Room” allowed me to think realistically about my vision and the firm foundation necessary to achieve the re-launching goals I’ve set within my business called Smooth Sailing. Anyone woman ready to develop what (goals) God has for them to the next level of success and completion should attend SAVVY!
 
I hope to attend again with other goal-minded sisters and cannot wait to continue fleshing out the possibilities for developing my opportunities into the success of my business!

Walking in Purpose

My experience at SAVVY was so much more than words can describe. 2014 was a year that the Lord was using to prepare me for what's to come.  God revealed so many things to me from the time I exited off of the Polaris Parkway driving to SAVVY even still today. 'SAVVY: A Transformational Weekend Experience' was so rich with content, wisdom, experience and encouragement. I walked in SAVVY hoping to gain insight on one thing however the Lord had a far greater plan than I could have even imagined. The connections made, directions given and obedience in being there was grand.
 
Explaining my experience is okay, but attending will do you more justice than just reading my experience. However, I will give you a taste here of my experience.
 
The Lord began pouring into me the vision that he has for our ministry. Our business 'Righteous Repairs' (www.righteousrepairsllc.com) will be an avenue that the Lord uses for us to minister to people as we work with them in fixing their physical house. As we our fixing their physical house we will minister to their spiritual house hence the name the Lord gave me for our ministry "Whole House Ministries" (www.wholehouseministries.org). I received this name during one of the breaks at Savvy.

As he continued to pour into me about Whole House He began revealing that the book, "They Said We Wouldn't Make It" that my husband and I are writing has to be a priority. The book will open doors for us to minister to marriages and build marriages back to the way He intended for them to be. The focus of all that we do is to bring about freedom, healing and restoration.

I have since began, Embrace Today, a BlogTalk Radio Show (www.blogtalkradio.com/wholehouseministries). The vision was given to me in May of 2013 and after feeling the unction of the Lord in October 2014 I knew I needed to launch. Savvy assisted me in the direction that I needed to go and with some of the resources that I needed to move forward.

My SAVVY experience was so astronomical that I am sending & paying for a friend to attend in March. I am truly grateful for Pastor Gail's obedience and I pray that you too may have a SAVVY experience that will catapult you into your next level. I left Savvy on full and pray that all attendees will leave the same if not better. This is an investment that you won't regret.

Past Participant Update!

Hi SAVVY women!

I felt the need to update you all on some recent events. I attended the first SAVVY in-depth workshop of 2014 and was amazed at the knowledge and insight I was given. Although I was jobless and still finding my way I got the motivation to continue to move forward and remain focused on God.
 
Since the SAVVY God has given me the job I never knew I wanted. The SAVVY expert speakers along with host Gail Dudley motivated me and gave the tools I needed to advance in my career. Everything I have learned and put to use have aided me in my career. I am excited to say that within three short months being on my new job I have been promoted in spite of it being the season for layoffs!
 
I work for a company who values me as an employee and recognizes all the things God has placed inside of me! Through the power of God and the wonderful teachings and written materials I received at SAVVY I am able to walk boldly into my purpose.

SAVVY: Exceeds Expectations!

I didn’t know what to expect from SAVVY. I was so confused, what was I supposed to bring, did I have pre-work I needed to complete. I went in with the expectation to help my husband develop more of his dream of owning his own business. Within the first hour after our first prayer session, I came to the realization that I was there for me. I was now accountable for my training, and put in contact with the right people to help advance my expertise. I have a BS in Forensic Accounting (Fraud), and a BS in Accounting. I have also obtained my Masters in Business Administration and have sat for two sections of my Certified Public Accounting exam. God has been preparing me to be utilize to build up His Kingdom, and I kept trying to put it off on someone else. I am now Accountable without limitations.

I thank the SAVVY Team for the in-depth workshop to help build my vision board, pray with me for clarity and healing, educate me about opportunities I never thought I could accomplish. From financial advising information, to business entity development, to publishing a book and understanding everyone has a story, I learned so much in two days. The SAVVY Team has equipped me to build my business to link it to a mandate so it creates the need which in return will build my dream. Part of the reason I went into Accounting was because there will always be a need for accountants.

The vision of SAVVY became a reality because of the passion of the visionary, Gail Dudley. She has so much drive and determination to help others. Gail Dudley has been such a blessing to me as a life coach that I invested in her vision through scholarships before truly understanding what SAVVY was all about. This endeavor of a SAVVY Transformational weekend experience is worth investing in, invest in yourself to be better positioned for your greater, invest in giving a sponsorship for someone else to attend so they can get out of the poverty mentality. Now I want to encourage others to invest in the SAVVY Experience because it will change your life and others who you may encourage to take part in it. The next SAVVY is March 27 & 28, 2015.

I am thankful for the Team of women who went through this experience with me and who took time out of their lives to empower me and the other women to fulfill the vision of Gail Dudley.
